The toboggan is already waiting for you on site, put on your helmet and ski goggles and off you go! A whole 2 kilometres of tobogganing fun! Again! The toboggan bus will take you comfortably back to the start.

Thursday

Tobogganing evening in Warth

Start: 17:00 in Warth (end of town)

Not only the toboggan is waiting for you, but also the tractor! You'll be pulled adventurously by tractor to the start, where it's then a case of quickly unhitching the toboggan and speeding down! Helmets are compulsory here too.

Daily

Warth village toboggan run

The gondola of the Warth village cable car takes you to the start without breaking a sweat, from where you can toboggan straight back to the village. You can hire a toboggan on site or bring your own sliding vehicle 😉 The toboggan is available for hire in the village.

In front of the chalet

Are you ready to climb the hill yourself for the tobogganing fun? Perfect! The daily slide is waiting for you right in front of the chalet. Young and old alike can have fun on our own sliding hill - and we'll provide the right sliding material 😉

Did you know that you can reach all places on the Arlberg on skis?

How wonderful that you can ski all the way to the chalet village!

The boundless winter sports fun on the Arlberg makes the heart of Skiers and Snowboarding With 300 interconnected kilometres of ski runs and 88 lifts and cable cars, this is the most Ski Arlberg the largest contiguous ski area in Austria - and is one of the five largest ski resorts in the world.

Fortunately, the Saloberjet valley station is only one bus stop away from the Aadla-Walser Chalets! Whether friends or family: at the valley station you will find everything you need: From ski rental and ski school to restaurant and winter hiking trails - so you can start your day without any organisation.

Thanks to our winter packages, which our holiday fairy has already bundled in advance, you can enjoy our multifaceted winter on the Arlberg quite comfortably with great extras!

And whenever you want to return to the cosy warmth of the Aadla Chalet, you drive with the skis directly in front of the chalet door. What are you in the mood for today: an enjoyable sauna in your own chalet sauna? Or a cosy evening by the crackling fireplace?

Our favourite ski runs for extra enjoyment

Take your skis off, put them in the bindings and off you go!

We ourselves are also true winter lovers who use every free moment to hit the slopes. Thanks to our years of skiing experience in the Arlberg region, we now dare to talk out of the closet - we reveal to you our favourite downhill runs that we particularly enjoy! ATTENTION: Danger of addiction 😉

Warth-Schröcken:

Our all-time favourite is on the Salober itself: the descent into the Auenfeld! We recommend this run especially in the morning, as here you can catch the first rays of sunshine while the rest of the area is still in the shade. It goes up with the Saloberjet and on the opposite side over the enjoyment piste. #258 down to the sun jet. AGAIN!

Those who have finished enjoying the wide downhill run in the morning sun can turn off on the next lap to the Auenfeldjet, which takes us to Lech for the next pleasure downhill run!

Those who still want to stay in Warth-Schröcken should make their way to Warth, where more of our favourite pistes await! From the mountain station of the Jägeralp Express, the wide pleasure piste leads #270 to the Wartherhorn Express - perfect for some carving! Arriving at the top station of the Wartherhorn, we can also enjoy the valley descent #270 highly recommended! A long descent with lots of views awaits you!

Lech-Zürs:

We get off at the mountain station of the Auenfeldjet connecting cable car, whereupon we cross directly the piste under the Petersboden cable car and follow the #201 follow. Soon we see the mountain station of the 2-seater chairlift in front of us, where we stop to enjoy the brilliant view! After taking a deep breath and snapping photos, the fun begins! On the wide slope #201 we carve our way down to the village!

Are you still fit enough to ski in Zürs? Then you should definitely take the Seekopfbahn to the top (to save time and energy, the ski bus also takes you from Lech to Zürs). From the top station, take the #150 to the Muggengrat lift, which will take you to the starting point of our next favourite downhill run! At 2450 metres, the #144which leads through Zürser Täli back to Zürs. Don't forget to enjoy the view! Tip: at the mountain station you can snap the best holiday memories with plenty of views!

St. Anton:

If you make it from Zürs to St. Anton with the Trittkopf connecting cable car and then the Flexen cable car, you should not miss the following pleasure descent:

When we arrive in the village of St. Anton, we unstrap our skis and board the Rendl cable car on the opposite side. In just a few minutes you will reach 2030 metres, where the Rendl beach and the mountain restaurant invite you to take a break 😉 However, since we are here in search of enjoyable downhill runs, we throw ourselves back on the skis and either take the downhill run from here #1which takes us all the way down again - we promise you a looooong enjoyment! If you want to put your fitness to the test, you can take the Gampberg chairlift next to the Rendl mountain station - from the top it's back down to the village. You'll hardly be able to stop skiing!

Stuben:

St. Anton is a bit too far for you? Then we have another enjoyable downhill run for you: From Zürs with the Trittkopf connecting cable car you go to St. Christoph, where you get on the Albona cable car II opposite. From there the #105 and #104 enjoyable all the way to Stuben - a looooong pleasure!

Why are the Aadla chalets ideally located for all winter wishes?

We reveal the secret of the ideal location: no matter how cosy it is in the Aadla chalets, the glistening white beckons everyone outside! When the snow crunches under your boots and you breathe the fresh winter air, you dive deep into your "dream in white" - and afterwards you look forward to your chalet with pine scent, open fire, sauna and much more.

Due to the altitude of the chalets at 1,500 metres, you can reach the car park of the Saloberjet valley station (1660 m). And there, in addition to the lift, ski school and ski rental, you will of course also find everything for your gentle winter fun in front of a magnificent mountain panorama!

What makes winter your dream in white?

Of course it's fun to whizz down the slopes on skis or snowboard. And yet - slowly, step by step, taking in the winter landscape and the panorama around you with every breath promises at least as much pleasure - and invigorates the senses! The flat areas are perfect for walking, hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.

Our winter trails are of course also suitable for families and if you are looking for a sporting challenge, you are sure to find something suitable for your wishes and condition on the many trails "upwards" - by the way, your hosts Michaela and Elmar will be happy to advise you on this!

If you feel like a snack in between, you can either take a seat in the restaurant with sun terrace at the valley station or you can hike along the winter hiking trail up to the Restaurant Körberseewhich is famous for its fine Sacher cake - and enjoy the view of the small, snow-covered lake.

How about a fun toboggan ride for the whole family?

In Schröcken and Warth, tobogganing fun also finds its place! The best thing about it? The way up is made completely effortless by bus and mountain railway.

Sledging evening Schröcken

Every Wednesday from 5:15 p.m. you can whiz down the illuminated toboggan run for two kilometres. To use the toboggan run, you need a ticket (Euro 3 per ride) - but a free toboggan bus is already waiting at the bottom to take you back up to the start.

Very practical: The start of the toboggan run is directly below the Aadla Chalets.

Important: The last bus goes up to the start at about 7pm.

Tobogganing and hiking fun Warth

In Warth, just 5 kilometres away, hikers and tobogganers have a great lift at their disposal. Winter hikers and toboggan fans who don't want to walk to the top can use the new gondola lift daily from 9 am to 4:15 pm. Once at the top, winter hiking trails and a toboggan run lead back to the village.

The rests: The lifts can be used free of charge with a valid lift ticket*.

*Alternatively, single rides (adults 4 euros, children 3 euros) or family tickets are available for the morning or afternoon; toboggan rental at the valley station.
*or on foot: entrance opposite the Wäldermetzge in Warth

In your temporary home, everything you need is there. Or we bring it to you. Like the breakfast box, which we fill daily according to your wishes!

The advantages of an individual chalet holiday are quickly listed: You do what you want and enjoy yourself from morning to night! You have a house all to yourself, where everything is ready - all you have to do is light the fire.

In winter, it's a real pleasure to nestle down in the cosy chalet. To dream or browse and gaze at the glittering white from the warm room. Warming rays of sun lure you onto the terrace and you fill your lungs with fresh, clear mountain air. What a relief!

Enjoy a coffee on the terrace now - with delicious milk foam? The warm furs invite you to linger outside; the aroma of your coffee mingles with the clear winter air. You feel the warm rays of the sun on your face and sense how the peace all around you is transferred to you. With every breath even more....

Slowly you get into the swing of things: you feel more and more like hearing the crunch of snow under your shoes. After your refreshing winter walk, you look forward to your deliciously scented tea. You pull your fur blanket up to the tip of your nose while your favourite music plays on the internet radio.

Soon your friends will be back from skiing. You light the first candles in the living room of your chalet and look forward to the crackling of the fireplace in the evening when you all sit down together for dinner after the sauna.

After a short winter hike, you reach the top of the Simmel with the World Peace Cross on it. From here you have a 360-degree view, which also looks pretty good on photos 😉

5 Reasons to Love Skiing in Spring

It's no secret: In past years, the last weeks of the ski season often opened up the best conditions late into April. Together with the spring sunshine, an unbeatable skiing pleasure!

Our 5 favourite reasons why we love skiing in spring so much:

1. best snow and piste conditions
The snowiest ski area in the Alps traditionally has the best snow conditions - in recent years this has been particularly true and large amounts of snow have provided perfect conditions until after Easter.

2. nap in a deck chair
From March onwards, the days are already really long and the chalet terraces lie wonderfully in the afternoon sun. Grab a deck chair and enjoy the great view - with nice music and maybe a fine drink to go with it.

3. sufficient space everywhere
With over 300 kilometres of pistes, the Arlberg offers something for everyone. In addition, the big rush is over in spring - and you have plenty of space on the slopes and sun terraces.
