5 enjoyment tours in late summer and autumn

Five guided entry tours near the Aadla Chalets: a culture hike with a train ride, an early ascent to the sunrise hike also for families and a doable Summit tour at sunset.

It is the time in late summer and autumn when the light in the mountains casts particularly dramatic shadows. Even though the mountain experiences around the Aadla Chalets are almost limitless - we have picked out five guided mountain hikes for different needs for you.

Something for everyone

You want to come? Great! Please always let us know by 12 noon the day before so that we can reserve a place for you: Then you can join the guided hike for free with your Inclusive Card!

Early morning on the Wartherhorn:

Maybe an easy early morning tour on the Wartherhorn is just the thing for you? The meeting point is at dawn, followed by a 2-hour ascent in absolute silence. Once you reach the summit, the rising sun will provide you with new energy and you will start the day fresh and lively.

Hiking with the whole family:

In summer every 2nd Thursday (until beginning of October)
Start: at dawn at the valley station of the Steffisalp Express
(Attention: Advance booking necessary - free with Inclusive Card)

Those who wish can then take the train down and return to the chalet for breakfast.

Aadla Tip: In autumn the start is not sooo early because of the later sunrise!

On the tracks of the Walsers:

An exciting theme trail with 57 stations about the shared history of Warth, Schröcken and Lech: On this entertaining, guided hike you will learn interesting facts about the settlement of the Tannberg region by the Walsers and their life on the Tannberg. The long, but quite easy hiking route takes 5.5 hours and leads past 57 stations - including the alpine museum "Uf'm Tannberg".

The easy hike starts at the Steffisalp mountain station and lasts 5.5 hours.
In summer always on Tuesdays (until beginning of October)
Start: At 9:25 am at the valley station of the Steffisalp Express
(Attention: Advance booking necessary - free with Inclusive Card)

Aadla Tip: You will receive the book "Auf den Spuren der Walser" as a gift when you register for the Walser Tour.

To the sunset on the Höferspitze (2,131m):

Would you like to experience the sunset from the "local mountain" of the Aadla Chalets? No problem for experienced hikers: great views of the Kleine Walsertal, the rocky Widderstein and Braunarl massifs.

The short mountain tour takes you over a ridge to the summit, where the play of colours of red, orange and yellow awaits you at sunset. Look forward to the colourful spectacle on the horizon!

Or something more sophisticated after all?

In summer every 2nd Thursday (until beginning of October)
Start: at the bus stop Hotel Adler
(Attention: Advance booking necessary - free with Inclusive Card)
The ascent takes approx. 2 hours, with descent approx. 3 hours.

The Aadla chalets are right in the middle of the hiking paradise, so this is only a small excerpt from the many mountain hikes around Schröcken. We have summarised more hiking offers for you here - the Aadla holiday fairy will of course be happy to tell you more!

Of course, our holiday fairy has also put together special offers with enjoyable extras! Take a look and find your perfect offer for a relaxing autumn holiday in our cosy Aadla Walser chalets.
